Position Description: POSITION DESCRIPTION We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment to join our team as a .NET developer. This position will be responsible for custom application development following industry best practices. Successful candidates will work both collaboratively and independently to maintain and enhance custom application solutions, they will work closely with technical architects and business users, and they must have experience with the full software development lifecycle. Your future duties and responsibilities: FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Support and enhance business critical custom platform * Able to assess, design, and implement enhancements to a custom platform leveraging Agile methodologies * Able to identify & troubleshoot system/platform issues with thorough understanding of the internal components of applications and databases * Able to produce scripts for automated build and deploy * Proven ability to complete assigned work in timely and quality manner * Collaborate with users and other IT teams to maintain, develop and deploy optimal solutions * Proactively manages client expectations to build a strong partnership * Delivers high quality services with a focus on continuous improvement * Effectively communicate with business, technology and vendor stakeholders * Effectively communicate with Infrastructure resources ((InfoSec, DBA, Wintel, Network, Firewall) * Demonstrate personal initiative to meet personal and professional goals * Performs job responsibilities and satisfies project or work assignment expectations; contributing to client satisfaction and loyalty Required qualifications to be successful in this role: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE * 5-8 years IT experience. * At least +5 years of successful Agile software development and application maintenance experience in support of front, middle and back office functions. * 5+years of experience with application design, development, delivery and support on Microsoft Windows platform: Windows, IIS, SQL Server, .net * 5+ years of experience with agile software development practices, i.e., Scrum/Lean/Kanban/XP, TDD/BDD, CI/CD * 5+ years of experience with C#/.net, Object Oriented Programming (OOP) and open source frameworks (Nuget) to build MVC web applications and .net services * 5+ years of experience with MS-SQL Server and related services: SSIS, SSRS * Utilize development tooling to track and automate software delivery through the SDLC: e.g., Jira, Confluence, Git, TeamCity, OctopusDeploy, Powershell * Experience with alternatives to Microsoft stack: e.g., RabbitMQ, MongoDB, Redis, NodeJs, AngularJs, Linux, Mac, iOS, Xamarin * Effectively collaborate with peer group (Scrum team) * Effectively communicate with our Business Partners: end-users, user groups and product owners #LI-SK1 Skills: * .NET * SCRUM * SQL Server What you can expect from us: Build your career with us.
