We are looking for a dynamic and growth oriented leader for our Advanced Analytics and Simulation practice of about 500 professionals. This leader will be SAIC-s thought leader in Analytics and Simulation responsible for crafting and achieving SAIC-s vision for leadership in this market, marked by profitable growth. With their leadership team, this individual holds responsibility in four specific areas: Market Strategy for Analytics and Simulation; Solution development and capability management; employee leadership; and business development and sales support.

Strategy and Solution Development

Candidate will be responsible for the market growth strategy, development and management of all analytics and simulation solutions. They will lead SAIC-s Analytics and Simulation strategy to grow business in this market segment through collaborating with SAIC-s customer account leaders. SAIC is focused on developing and delivering repeatable solutions for our customers to enhance their missions. Specific areas of capability include:
- Modeling, Simulation & Analysis - Simultaneous application of modeling, simulation, and operations research to support enhanced decision making. Future concept development through live, virtual and constructive experimentation.
- Advanced Analytics & Visualization - Using advanced analytical systems, processes and techniques (including emerging approaches in areas like artificial intelligence) enabling more effective tactical and strategic decisions.
- Analytics Platform Engineering - Planning, design and Implementation of technical architectures to facilitate the analysis of data using OEM and Open Source tools.
- Intelligence Analysis & Analytic Gaming - Facilitated simulation with participants from various disciplines. All-source intelligence analysis supporting defense and the intelligence community.
- Data Architecture & Management - Designing data architectures, risk and governance strategies and information models to promote consistent use of data across an enterprise.
- Knowledge Management & Collaboration - Employing data processes and methodologies for creating acquiring, capturing, sharing and using knowledge to enable learning in organizations.

Candidate should have a working knowledge of all these areas and be able to contribute to the strategic direction of each area. One of the key responsibilities of this area is to manage a cadre of highly technical solutions architects that contribute to proposal development. Candidate will have oversight responsibility of all SAIC research and development projects within the organization and be the key stakeholder driving them to completion. They will also lead and grow SAIC-s alliance partnerships within the Analytics and Simulation market.

Through a resource team, candidate will be responsible for the leadership, development, and utilization of over 500 employees within the organization whom are deployed to many of SAIC-s geographically dispersed programs across our portfolio. In this leadership role, the candidate will be responsible for ensuring the needs of each employee are met and balanced with the needs of the organization. Business Development and Sales Support

Candidate will be responsible for solutions in all analytics and simulation bids across SAIC-s customers through a team of solutions architects. Business Development support includes the ability to generate leads, actively participate in the capture process and oversee transition and performance activities. This leader must actively support SAIC-s account teams develop a pipeline of strategically aligned future opportunities within the analytics and simulation market. This leader must be able to communicate complex solutions to all levels of an enterprise both internal and external to SAIC.

Specific Skills required

Must be a principled centered leader with proven track record of leading people to exceed expectations, demonstrating grit, driving business growth, and developing solutions in the Analytics and Simulation market. Proven ability to lead cross-disciplinary teams to accomplish business objectives and experience in a collaborative environment with the ability to influence across the enterprise.

Demonstrated success managing programs and leading people in the Federal Government or commercial market of similar scale and complexity. Candidate should have exceptional communication skills and be able to develop collaborative relationships to drive business. Candidate should have experience with one of SAIC-s three customer segments (Federal Civilian, Defense, National Security).

Candidate should be extremely familiar with Analytics and Simulation technologies and be able to communicate their uses in a technology stack to executive level customers and SAIC Senior Leaders with a proven track record of thought leadership and presence in industry forums.

Candidate should be able to quickly apply technical solutions to business problems and show how mission needs and requirements are being met.

Candidates should strong business acumen with proven track record of managing a service delivery organization, including revenue, utilization metrics, gross margin, budgeting, return on investments, and profitability.

Education Requirement

Candidate will possess a Bachelor-s Degree in a Technical/Engineering field and 15+ years of experience with a minimum of 5+ years in a senior leadership position managing a portfolio of programs in related discipline . A Master-s degree is preferred.

Candidate must demonstrate strong ability in financial management, organizational change and strategic leadership for an organization of a hundred or more employees.

Ability to obtain TS-SCI clearance.
