Job Description

A client in Nashville, TN is seeking a Manager of Applications & Integration for a permanent position.

- Oversee the operation of all business applications and data integration.
- Integrate new applications into the organization and manage changes to existing applications
- Manage and act as technical lead for a team of 3 that supports all the business applications.
- Manage the development of any new software integration and manages internal systems integration to meet functional requirements and interface specifications (ERP, G/L AP/AR, POS, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Reporting, etc.)
- Review and analyze existing applications effectiveness and efficiency, and then develop strategies for improving or leveraging these systems.
- Oversee the administration, operations, database maintenance and security of all applications to ensure effective operation, minimal downtime and data integrity.
- Manage development and delivery of enterprise reporting and delivery.
- May require hands-on work to support and maintain current systems integration or SQL database development related to application software.

Required Skills/Experience:
- 2 years of experience as a technical lead
- 3 years of hands-on application development experience
- 5 years of hands-on experience with ETL technologies supporting and developing data integrations solutions.
- Experienced with designing and developing software applications using, Java, C#, SQL or similar technologies.
- Strong SQL and database skills.
- Knowledge of best practices in application architectures, integration frameworks, technical strategies to ensure stability and reliability.
- Some experience managing enterprise reporting solutions or BI Tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and exhibit professionalism while meeting deadlines and under pressure.

Preferred skills:
- Application development experience in retail or ecommerce.
- Understanding of web-based systems programming and development
- Knowledge of mobile application development
- Experience in a retail environment in a technical capacity and/or experience in the C-Store/Petro industry
- Experience in support of ERP and or POS systems
- Financial institution experience
