Job Description


Our Human Capital team is working to help one of our clients through a very large reorganization and redeployment of it's staff, and we need a hands on Human Capital practioner to help us get to the next level!




Work you'll do




The HC Generalist will provide job analysis, career development, selection and position assistance, and occupational management support including focus group development and facilitation and survey design and analysis services in addition to providing performance management and training support as needed. Practitioner will play an integral role within our fast-paced interdisciplinary team to deliver projects with exceptional creativity and technical knowledge, and a natural desire to keep current on the latest trends in employee engagement, survey design and administration, training, and career and performance management. Applicant must have excellent client facing skills as they will be interacting with clients regularly and should show the ability to learn about client needs, goals, target markets, ideas, and challenges. Instructional Design a plus.





  • Perform project tasks independently, and may direct the efforts of others


  • Participate in and/or lead the development of deliverable content that meets the needs of the client and contract


  • Anticipate client needs and formulate solutions to client issues


  • Review deliverables for accuracy and quality


  • Provides coaching to junior staff


  • Contributes to new business proposals and proposal development


  • Manages own personal and professional development; seeks opportunities for professional growth and expansion of consulting skills and experiences

Qualifications




Required:



  • Bachelor's Degree in business, human resources, communications, industrial and organizational development/psychology or a related discipline


  • 3+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience


  • Experience working independently with minimal supervision and guidance


  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with experience exercising mature judgment


  • Experience with statistical analysis using SPSS statistical software is a plus


  • Experience in areas such as job analysis techniques, competency modeling, process improvement, career management, and change management


  • Project management, self-management and multi-tasking skills


  • Instructional Design a plus

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance Required

Preferred:



  • Prior professional services or federal consulting experience
