Job Description

Data Systems Analysts, Inc. is searching for a Senior Identity Credential and Access Management Officer. Currently, Data Systems Analysts, Inc. (DSA) is seeking a customer focused Senior Identity Credential and Access Management Engineer (ICAM) to join our team in the Washington DC Metro area to provide support to the Army and to begin an exciting career within DSA. As a team lead, the Senior IdAM Engineer will perform a variety of complex technical tasks. The Senior IdAM Engineer is responsible for the integration and hands-on implementation of new capabilities and managing existing capabilities for the Army's EAMS-A/AMID identity management platform. This platform serves as the Army's single source for the storage, management and access of Army and DoD identities, supporting over 700 distinct applications. The ICAM Engineer will work closely with other technical leads and Army staff to assess customer requirements and then design, extend and continually improve system capabilities. Additionally, you will serve as a trusted advisor, providing subject matter expertise, guidance, and best practice recommendations.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

  • Management and oversight on all IdAM efforts.
  • Maintain the Army's EAMS-A Authentication Service
  • Provide recommendations and guidance to Army customers regarding improving efficiency and security of IdAM solutions.
  • Provide LDAP subject matter expertise to operate and maintain the LDAP data store
  • Coordinate with external system providers to design, build, and maintain Extract Transform Load (ETL) solutions.
  • Review known issues published by product vendors and identify potential impacts to the IdAM solution.
  • Support upgrade and patching of new application versions when they are released Create application documentation, architecture diagrams, how-to guides, SOPs, and other deliverables for both training and tool maintenance.
  • Prepare technical designs and briefings to Army customers regarding architectural best practices on an as-needed basis.
  • Provide Tier III support for IdAM services including but not limited to implementation, configuration, troubleshooting, operations and management.
  • Provide technical support services to standardize authoritative enterprise user attributes across the Army and DoD with the Army Master Identity (AMID) store.
Position Requirements
  • 8 years of experience in Information Technology supporting DoD customers
  • BA/BS or MA/MS Degree in a Relevant Field
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience with the design and implementation of IdAM tools and LDAP directories
  • Technical architecture experience integrating multi-tiered applications, databases, LDAP and directory services, application servers, network infrastructure, and understanding security and dataflow within these components.
  • Experience in systems analysis, design and programming using CASE and IE tools and methods, (such as Oracle CASE, IEF CASE, -CASE).
  • Experience developing requirements, reports and presenting analysis to senior leadership to facilitate program level decision making.
  • Experience with implementing and managing enterprise device types, operating systems (Windows and UNIX) and virtual machines.
  • Experience with FISMA and NIST, security standards.
  • Basic understanding of scripting/coding using languages such as Java, Python, Bean Shell, Powershell, BASH.
  • Experience leading technical discussions with internal and external customers
  • Experience provisioning and de-provisioning accounts, groups, entitlements, and roles.
  • Experience with 3rd party tool integration using APIs and Database connections.
  • Ability to troubleshoot wide-ranging issues that cross team boundaries (OS, hardware, network, storage, firewall, COTS layers, customer access/authentication).
  • In-depth experience with general IT security concepts, network security and monitoring practices/methodologies.
  • Experience presenting material to senior management level and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to continually learn and implement new tools as required.
Preferred
  • Experience working within the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • Experience working with cloud solutions to include Amazon Web Services (AWS), VMware Cloud, Microsoft Azure, etc.
