Oracle Applications Business/Systems Analyst at Chicago, IL

Locations:- Chicago, IL

Duration:- 6 Months High Possibility of Extension

Position Summary:


This business/systems analyst role is responsible for supporting value chain modules in Oracle E-Business Suite of applications. Client in Oracle supply chain modules and needs help stabilizing the solution. Activities for this role include working closely with business super users/subject matter experts, understand the issues/defects, work with Oracle Support, developers and QA to resolve and test defects.




  • Expert in Oracle E-Business Suite value chain planning modules - ASCP, Global Order Promising (GOP), Sourcing Rules, Available to Promise/Ship/Reserve, Internal Requisition Sales Order process
  • Strong understanding of how Order Management/Sales Orders impact Oracle ASCP module,
  • Knowledge about Oracle Inventory, WIP and BOM and how these modules integrate with value chain modules
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, quickly analyzes issues/defects to identify the root cause
  • Works effectively with Oracle Support




  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite supply chain modules
  • Experience in functional design and implementation of ASCP
  • Deep understanding of how Order Management and ASCP modules integrate
  • Has enough technical knowledge to help developers fix the issue and help QA resources test the fix
