Job Description

Role: Senior Compensation Analyst

Location: Bethlehem, PA

Job type: FTE/Permanent


  • Perform job analysis and evaluation, market pricing/competitive pay analysis, and consultation on base pay, incentive/bonus, and total cash compensation.
  • Assist with the development and delivery of training/communications on a variety of compensation programs, including global job families and levels, salary planning, bonus/incentive plans, and FLSA compliance.
  • Provide consultation and analytical support to the business on retention strategies, incentive plans, spot awards, and various project/milestone bonus programs as needed.
  • Conduct individual, team, and organizational analysis of compensation levels to determine internal equity and external competitiveness and make recommendations to management.
  • Support the HR integration process for acquisitions & new business deals, including job mapping, incentive plan alignment, and other compensation-related policies and practices as needed.
  • Respond to compensation related inquiries and requests for information from a variety of internal customers to include Business Managers, HR Business Partners, and Recruiters.
  • Utilize the various tools that support global compensation programs and initiatives, and work with HRIS to align systems with compensation needs in support of the technology roadmap.
  • Leads annual salary review administration process. Develops project plan and calendar and provides updates to HR mangers on outstanding items.
  • Manage and serve as the eCompensation administrator. Assist in the development of the program and ongoing administration.
  • Manages deferred compensation and SERP plans.
  • Provides HR Business Partners tools to ensure all salary adjustments, promotions, and compliance with compensation established guidelines, policies and practices. Review and signs off on Ongoing compensation files including plant program compensation reviews for approval


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in related area (Degree in accounting, Business Management or Human Resources preferred).
  • 5+ years’ work-related experience required
  • CCP and/or PHR/SPHR certifications preferred
  • Project facilitation and management
  • Vendor management and relationship building
  • PeopleSoft and HRIS knowledge a plus
  • Compensation Benchmark Survey knowledge of the following Mercer, Hays, Towers Watson, CompAnalyst a plus
  • Understanding of deferred compensation and SERP programs.
  • Experience in benchmarking positions
  • Understand of Compensation Philosophy and standard requirements
  • Experience in developing/preparing compensation training presentations a plus
  • Must have a proven record of experience working with highly confidential data
  • Experience in team environments a must
  • Hoshin or Six Sigma experience a must
