Reporting to the VP of Global Identity, Fraud and Compliance (IFC) Solution Leader will be responsible for developing and leading the next generation of Global IFC Solutions for Equifax in designated strategic B-to-B vertical markets. This entails closely working with an ideating with customer and internal regional team to understand the market, validate with market research, test and validate market value proposition , solution design, market development, communications and pricing. Creative discovery and development process for new product ideas or strategic product extensions. Translating research discoveries into usable and marketable products. Researching, developing, planning, designing, maintaining and implementing policies and programs that enhance the organization s relations with the community, the public, governmental and regulatory authorities, shareholders and/or employees.

This new role will work closely with, and support, senior business unit leadership in the regions articulate the solution approach, deliverable and product/market positioning in support of Equifax's IFC business strategy. This individual should have deep expertise in Identity and Fraud and demonstrate a strong understanding of EFX's global markets with experience leading initiatives delivering revenue growth.

As the Global IFC Marketing Leader, the individual will be responsible for marketing activities for products and solution sets to solve customer problems in these verticals. In order to do this effectively, this person will need to have significant experience in Solutions Marketing, Product Marketing, Product Management, Sales, and/or Marketing Strategy. The person will work with senior leaders and stakeholders across Marketing and Sales, external firms, and customers to become the expert in buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria. They will work with Marketing Communications to effectively craft the messaging and positioning for products and solution sets that are relevant for a variety of segments. They will also work collaboratively with the Product Management team to provide market insights and go to market execution. The vertical market knowledge will be transferred to the sales channel in order to maximize effectiveness in front of customers.

In general, this person must be able to work across the organization, leveraging the skills and knowledge of pricing, product management and sales in order to maximize the value proposition and the price-to-value equation for Equifax.

What You'll Do

  • Maximizes growth opportunities via a strong and comprehensive product portfolio strategy and marketing plan based on market and segment needs.

  • Understand multi-level customer needs and validate solutions that support strategic portfolio of products/platforms.

  • Develop and communicate the product vision and roadmap, enforcing internal processes to prioritize the roadmap.

  • Provide sales and operational support and enablement, by serving as a "product expert" and responding to product and technical questions, including participation in select sales and customer calls.

  • Define key measurements of product line performance and success criteria. Supports tracking efforts and provides market data for the analysis of each segment of the product line.

  • Product release planning: creating release plan, working with other groups to drive the release (Marketing, Legal, Operations, etc.) and ensuring that all aspects of the release planning process are complete upon product availability.

  • Lead efforts in developing product and product line strategies, directions and recommendations as input to overall company planning process.

  • Support internal operational leaders by providing current information on product developments and competitive market positioning.

  • Evangelize the product capabilities internally and to the external partners.

  • Stay current with industry and market trends; Attends user group meetings, trade shows, and seminars as required to support product management and marketing programs.

  • Stay current on regulatory changes that impact our products/platforms and determine our go forward strategies to address these changes.

  • Build a team of Solutions Marketing Marketing professionals in the development of Marketing Plans and lead go-to-market execution for designated vertical market across regions.

  • Center of Excellence: Develop Marketing best practices, metrics, tools, and processes to share across the organization.

  • Represent Equifax in the market at client advisory boards, trades shows, industry events, and other direct customer engagement activities.

  • Market intelligence: Proactively serves as subject matter expert to Marketing Communications, Product Management, Sales and Support with regard to marketing strategy, competitive positioning, etc. for designated vertical markets across regions. Be the expert on buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on competition. Responsible for influencing associates at all levels of the organization with regard to product and marketing strategies and plans for designated verticals.

  • Provide Guidance and Best Practices for Demand generation: Develop the strategy and manage the marketing programs that drive demand. Develop product packaging and positioning that differentiates products in the market.

  • Sales enablement: Ensure common global messaging and help developing tools and programs in support of the selling process, direct and indirect channel.

  • Product/Solution launch: Initiates market research, analysis, and planning associated with the launch of new products. Works with Marketing Communications to develop marketing and promotional plans, and marketing materials such as Data Sheets, Brochures, Customer Presentations, Competitive Analysis, and other collateral.

  • You've attained a Bachelor's degree in Marketing or similar field required; M.B.A. preferred or equivalent business experience
  • 10+ years in a B2B Solutions and Product Marketing and Management role in a global business environment, desired
  • Deep experience in Identity and Fraud and demonstrate a strong understanding of global markets with experience leading initiatives delivering revenue growth
  • Must have a deep understanding of Product Management, Solutions Marketing, Product Marketing, Marketing Planning, Marketing Communication, and the infrastructure and tools necessary to support these activities
  • Excellent written and verbal skills with sensitivity to diversity of audiences including internal and external groups of varying sizes
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships with peers, managers, and senior management within and across organizational lines
  • Ability to adjust well to situations (e.g., different management styles, new methods, systems and procedures) and changing priorities within the business and the marketplace
  • Strong project management skills required
  • Initiates and takes responsibility for own development as well as peers and potentially subordinates
  • Strategic and innovative thinking with ability to develop and understand financial and economic scenarios
  • Experience in the technology and/or data industries or working with technology and/or data-related products and services preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 50% as needed
