Role: SAP ABAP-HR Support Lead and US Payroll

Hands-on technical support lead who can mentor, guide and assist a team to provide high quality application services to critical SAP HR system
Experience in managing the full spectrum of Production Support responsibilities, based on the ITIL Framework: Incident and Problem Management, Change Management, Risk Management for SAP based systems
Project Lead experience in handling SAP HR engagements in US region with 7-10 years ABAP programming in the HR Module including US payroll
Very strong communication skills (written & verbal) and must be able to: leverage your influencing skills to gain internal support; operate independently with limited supervision; and establish a solid working relationship with, vendors, technical staff, Senior business & IT executives, and support team peers.
Must have Customer centric mindset, autonomous and self-driven, multi-tasker
Ability to work under high pressure, fast paced environment
Hands on and Technically proficient in SAP HCM ABAP modules PA, OM, PD, & PY
Experience in SAP US Payroll implementations, SAP Payroll Schema and Rules,
Experience in Report, Interface, Conversion, Enhancement, Form & Workflow i.e. RICEFW , Enhancements/User Exits, BAPI, IDOC, BADI s & Forms
Extensive experience in handling onsite-offshore teams.
Exposure on SAP Solution Manager ChaRM Administration
Experience in at least 1 End-to-End Implementation SAP ECC Project
Roles & Responsibilities
Manage the full spectrum of Production Support responsibilities, based on the ITIL Framework: Incident and Problem Management, Change Management, Risk Management
Responsible for meeting Service Level Agreements established with the client.
Provides expert level technical lead and direction for the production support of SAP HCM system
Utilize IT and business skills to interact with internal and external clients
Communicates with Service Delivery manager on a frequent basis. Report on SLAs, team performance and KPIs and develop recommendations and run with ad-hoc projects to improve quality of service
Optimize the service issues and gaps and implement service quality
Optimize operational procedures to improve efficiency, reduce time to restore and minimize costs. Must have passion for continuous improvements.
Identifies tasks and issues that may have an impact on service levels or schedules
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
Demonstrate high level of agility and proactivity in collaborating with internal and external teams
Provide management with timely weekly and monthly project status updates.
Design technical solutions for US Payroll, Time Management modules, Payroll Functions, Time Functions and Features
Payroll Schemas, rules and how custom payroll functions are embedded therein
HR Payroll Execution Process, Time Infotypes, Benefits Infotypes and Finance tables
Develop SAP HCM RICEF objects
Interface development of BDC/BAPI/HR User Exits/HR ABAP objects
Logical data base Reports (Payroll or Time, PA, OM) and Interfaces (Payroll or Time, PA, OM)
Implementation of Support Packs, Enhancement Packs, BSI and Payroll year end activities
