We are currently looking for a SAP Basis Admin for the below Job description to join our team with one of our clients.

Title- SAP Basis Admin

Location- Omaha, NE

Position Type- Full Time

Job Description:

SAP Basis consultants need to be proficient in SAP Basis and all SAP systems. They will head use of Basis and subsequent upgrades and technical support, leadership and communication skills and are a must. Basis consultants also need to have an analytical mind to provide troubleshooting for sometimes complex software issues.

  • Administer the SAP database (perform database upgrades, apply database maintenance, administer database performance, manage database storage, database problem determination and resolution.
  • Installation of SAP systems.
  • Run SAP BASIS existing operations and maintenance for UP
  • Experience in Administration and maintenance of large SAP environments is a must.
  • Good knowledge of Linux
  • Provide technical and End User support and monitor system performance.
  • Perform SAP client administration (create client, copy client, delete client, export/import client).
  • Overall System Monitoring (work processes, users, system logs, short dumps, locks, developer traces, system traces, disk space, etc.).
  • Analysis of ABAP dumps and system logs errors messages and provide solution.
  • Implementing SAP OSS Notes as requested from customer and after coordinating with specialist.
  • Maintain documentation and procedures on all provided Services, in a supportive role.
  • Support build/project team with project tasks.
