Job Summary:
  • Working on a project- Migrating one application over to the other

Core Functions of the Job:
  • The Project Manager manages the delivery of software development solutions leveraging the OOTB capabilities of the ServiceNow Platform
  • Solid understanding of large organization Application Portfolio management and common services data models
  • Manage development activities of an Agile delivery team in dual capacities:
  • Agile/SCRUM Product Owner, in terms of demand management and the prioritization of workload, Sprint backlog refinement, and overall POD productivity (Burn-down, velocity, etc..)
  • Project Manager in terms of financial, risk, resource, scope management
  • Collaborate with the ServiceNow process owners & major stakeholders to develop process-specific portfolios plans in relevant areas of the ServiceNow Platform.
  • Collaborate with the ServiceNow development teams, Platform Manager, Product Owners, Release Manager, Business and Process Owners, and Testing organizations to deliver a complete plan to deliver a major project as part of the overall Application Portfolio Management Program.

Analytical/Decision-Making Responsibilities:
  • Make informed decisions and take appropriate action regarding issues that may potentially impact the quality of services delivered by ServiceNow across the relevant functional areas
  • The Project Manager collaborates with stakeholders on requirements from their respective businesses and take appropriate steps to define action plans which are detailed, meaningful and set expectations appropriately with the business
  • Determine when it is appropriate to escalate, and use judgment and experience to determine the most effective course of action
  • Engage and collaborate with the stakeholders across Technology & other non-IT partners, using personal experience and judgment to define tailored approaches to dealing with specific stakeholders, setting expectations appropriately, and building trust and confidence.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
  • Manage demanding customers and challenging suppliers fairly and effectively
  • Manage service delivery performance and compliance through agreed metrics and service levels
  • Ability to communicate effectively across a complex and diverse group of stakeholders
  • Practical ITILv4 knowledge and experience
  • Practical Agile/SCRUM delivery methodology knowledge and experience
  • Practical ServiceNow capabilities knowledge and experience in how they are applied to ServiceNow implementations
  • Experience in delivering complex software development solutions for a large organization ideally using an Agile Framework.
  • End-to-end project scheduling, resourcing, and financial management of a highly technical ServiceNow project involving a major migration of capabilities within the ServiceNow Platform's APM Implementation
  • ServiceNow APM Agile Pod Owner

Note:
  • Having managed technical agile pods
  • Having service now delivery experience (nice to have).
  • Understanding technology.
  • Asset management, application books of record.
  • Agile environment

Must Haves:
  • Managed technical Agile pods
  • PMP
  • Technical projects experience

Nice to Have:
  • Service now
  • Application portfolio mgmt. experience (knowing how assets are tracked within an organization)
