Job Description

This role leads the Bramasol Solutions Engineering team responsible for driving the discovery and demo process. Will have accountability directly to the senior leadership team for:

This person is the Chief Technical Translator - The most successful candidates and incumbents will be adept at understanding business issues and translating them into SAP Software Solutions. He or she is a critical bridge between the Account Team and the Delivery Team and must be entrepreneurial, highly motivated, self-starter individual who works very well alone and with a close team of other peers

o Team work is critical, and has the trait of being a self-starter
o Eager to learn from others and new software capabilities
o Defining, driving and owning the discovery and demonstration process for software solutions as part of the overall sales process
o Defining, preparing and delivering Manufacturing aspects of demos, including MM, PP, SCM
o Partnering with Account Executive, Services Lead and SAP on strategy for a successful sales opportunity
o Defining, deploying and maintenance of demo systems through a combination team in India and the US that reports to this role
o Ensuring that the Solutions team has and maintains certifications in key solutions areas, such as Finance, Accounting, Manufacturing, Warehouse Management and SD, as
well as other areas deemed appropriate
o Maintains master list of specialists who can assist as required
o Overall coordination and assignment of solution captain
o Hiring, recruiting and coaching of team of solution engineers
o A high degree of organization and attention to detail is a must
o Positive attitude, creative in problem solving
o Strong desire to work in a sales organization to provide sales support for Business Development as product expert
o Flexible with various job responsibilities and duties
o Able to travel - mostly day trips or overnighters in the Western US

Primary skill set:

Functional hands on experience in Logistics Supply Chain and Manufacturing, Operations, integration with other business processes/functions
Must have excellent communication skills (written and oral), excellent presentation skills, good documentation & demonstration skills
o Comfortable under stress
o Comfortable communicating with customer c-level executives
Must have good understanding of common business processes and small/medium business environments
o Primary focus will be manufacturing and supply chain logistics, production planning
o Secondary focus will be in warehouse management, quality management, APO

Industry experience variety of experiences in various industries (2-3), such as:
o High Tech
o Services
o Manufacturing
o Wholesale distribution
o Consumer Product Goods

Key Expertise

o Outstanding listening skills with a keen ability to translate business needs to software solutions
o Excellent verbal communications skills with strong presentation capability
o A superb diagnostician with an ability to ask key questions and uncover hidden issues
o Strong coordination and management skills across his/her team and the extended eco-system
o Knowledge of SAP Manufacturing Solutions including QA, MM, PP, PLM, APO, WMS and others

SAP experience

o Projects experience with small to medium size companies
o Experienced in blueprinting SAP solutions to fit customer requirements
o Familiar with SAP All-In-One solution set
o Good understanding / experience with integrating SAP with non-SAP applications from a business process / function perspective
o Good understanding of ASAP implementation methodology
o Overview knowledge of SAP solution offerings

Work experience

o The most successful candidate will have at least 15 years of experience in Business Solutions Applications, primary, SAP. The will have demonstrated knowledge of
Manufacturing and Hi-tech businesses have a successful track record of conducting discoveries and delivering demonstrations that help win sales.
o The leader of this team is able to maneuver easily from the C-Suite to the shop floor or cubicle and can speak the language of both. He or she is capable of understanding
how SAP solutions can help companies solve critical business issues and help the Account Executive translate that into value to the business.
o 5+ years of professional business experience (Industry experience is a big plus)
o 3+ years of SAP implementations, or have participated a team member in 2 Full Life Cycle, Go Live implementation projects
o 1+ years experience in participating in sales related activities (i.e. Sales support, presentations, product demonstrations, request for proposal, end user training)
o 1+ years project management experience
o Exposure to Project Management, Proposal and RFP responses
