* * * Contract to Hire Opportunity * * *

The candidate in this Systems Ops Support position will project manage an enterprise laptop refresh project.

Primary focus of below Responsibilities and Skills:
  • Database skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Engage and interact with application service team for Tomcat, JMS, and TSF issues
  • Identify and interact with database support team for Oracle errors and maintenance
  • Engage and interact with midrange support and network teams for hardware error and maintenance
  • Engage and interact with L1 and ====TPTP Support Teams
  • Engage and interact with depot support
  • Provide business support in maintenance and management of data, including:
    • Reporting on application usage (PL / SQL)
    • Diagnosing data discrepancies between systems
    • Diagnosing process discrepancies in data flow
  • Support Service Transformation / ERP Projects
    • ServiceMobility
    • GAPS
    • Salesforce
    • Oracle (FS/RS)
    • etc.
  • Business liaison to Infosys support teams
  • Operational support of current systems
  • Hardware evaluation for future rollouts / releases
Note: This candidate will NOT be required to troubleshoot laptop hardware, correct logic errors in code, enhance existing systems, or provide direct end user support.


  • Knowledge / expertise in Visual Basic
  • Knowledge / expertise in C
  • Knowledge / expertise with Oracle DB
  • Knowledge / expertise in Unix scripts
  • Knowledge / expertise in QAnywhere
  • Knowledge / expertise in Afaria
  • Logging of activities within ServiceNow system as appropriate
  • Issues are escalated when they are discovered
