Location : Louisville, KY ........................ (100% Onsite Role from Day 1).

Duration : 3 - 6 Months

Deskside Support Technician

As a Deskside Support Technician, you will be responsible to build and deploy the assets and provide basic level of troubleshooting in an effective and timely manner. Key Responsibilities (not limited to)

  • Offboarding of Team Members & Collection of Assets
  • Onboarding - Build and deploy new equipment
  • Ensure Asset data is updated as part of the Inventory & Asset Management process
  • Periodic updates on tickets in ServiceNow
  • Generate and provide metrics on Incident/request data.
  • Escalate issues to Endpoint technicians
  • OS Image and Software deployments, including targeting & packaging, patching & updates, inventory control, and security baselining.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 2 - 3 years of experience in customer service and support of Windows Operating systems in a global enterprise environment from both software and hardware basic troubleshooting standpoint.
  • Basic knowledge on OS deployment, Exchange, and Citrix configurations.
  • Should have knowledge in CMDB and asset management
  • 2 + years of experience with Configuration Management and Deployment methods with SCCM and Intune.
  • Experience with deployment methods including inventory control, patching, software, and application deployments.
  • Understanding of Windows 10 new features, feature updates, and industry best practice processes.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Patching Cycles & Policies, best practice processes. (ex. WSUS, Win10 Update Rings)
  • Active technical certifications would be an asset.

  • Ability to keyboard to capture important details on a call for documentation
