The Network Operations Control Center (NOCC) Change Manager will be responsible for correctly processing change records through an existing Change Management workflow, identifying superfluous or redundant steps within that workflow, proposing Continuous Service Improvements to that workflow, assisting with driving adoption of those improvements, and providing succinct documentation and training to NOCC staff on any adopted improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop SME-level understanding of current change process used by client's NOCC
  • Process all active changes through the current workflow, adhering to all existing compliance parameters and any/ all relevant SLAs
  • Identify unnecessary or redundant steps within the current change management workflow and propose improvements to that workflow
  • Optimally, create automation scripts to minimize manual touching of Change records
  • Assist NOCC leadership with driving adoption of workflow improvements, by:
    • Documenting non-essential steps in current workflow
    • Demonstrating why those steps are not required for ITIL compliance
    • Demonstrating time-saving potential of eliminating unnecessary steps
    • Documenting proposed-state workflow
  • Create clear and concise documentation on any workflow changes which are adopted
  • Deliver training to NOCC engineers on workflow changes
  • Develop appropriate KPIs, SLAs, and means of measuring each

Interested professionals should be process-focused, adaptable, and a catalyst creatively constructing new processes within compliance parameters.

Qualified candidates should have 5+ years of experience in Change Administration within an IT organization. The candidates must also exhibit strong professional skills including communications, self-motivation, adaptability and dependability. ITIL Certification required - any others are a plus.
