This role is part of our Managed Services team to serve as primary responder within the Network Operations Center. This role will be responsible for identifying, upgrading, patching, administrating and triaging a variety of IT custom solutions for our client’s optimal network posture. Also responsible for fault handling and escalations of client service requests, incidents and events within the established SLAs. The ideal candidate has experience working on a Tier 2 Service Desk or Network Operations Center (NOC). - Hands-on experience with remote administration, maintenance, triage and deployment of Active Directory 2008 / 2012, Remote Desktop Services, Windows Server 2008 / 2012 / 2016, Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 / 2013, Office 365, network switches, routers, firewalls and storage technologies
- Designs, configures, turn-up and supports our technology in the field and on client site for matters of importance to resolve issues
- Primary decision maker for fault handling and escalation (identifying and responding to faults on Managed devices)
- Designs and manages applications within network: IP network hardware, routing protocols, high availability network monitoring, network security, and/or VoIP
- Manages Network Monitoring System (NMS) for faults and alerts, as well as design enhancement/refinement of NMS to provide more insight into production
- Be a problem solver - Identify solutions for hardware, software and network issue
- Utilizes ticketing and monitoring system and follow proper documentation and escalation processes
- Communicates with clients in a highly professional and timely manner
- Attends internal training to develop your skills and grow with us
- Other duties as required

Qualifications

Education
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field is preferred Experience
- Two (2) or more years of experience supporting the Microsoft operating system suite of products, to include cloud and web/networked computing environments required (Azure, Windows Server and Desktop, Office 365, MS Exchange, Active Directory, etc.)
- Intermediate knowledge of network protocols, configurations, and operations required
- Experience supporting system administration, NOC and Server support required
- Ability to triage problems, design and identify solutions and appropriately escalate issues in fast-paced environment
- Experience with Infrastructure backups such as VEEAM, Data Protection Manager (DPM), etc. is preferred
- Experience with cloud technologies such as Azure, Azure Backups, AWS or similar cloud experience preferred Software
One of the following required:
- Microsoft Operating Systems suite of products such as: Office 365, Active Directory, Azure, Exchange, Windows Server Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Excellent communication skills, professionalism, positive attitude and desire to learn
