Job Description

Our client, an industry leading compound pharmacy, is looking for an IT Support Technician to help contribute to their growing success. This individual is a a self-starter, an efficient problem-solver, and a great communicator. The IT Support Technician is responsible for answering, evaluating, and prioritizing incoming requests for assistance from users experiencing problems with desktop hardware, software, networking, and other computer-related technologies.

When will you work?

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

  • Handle problem recognition, research, isolation, and follow-up for user issues
  • Schedule and complete preventative maintenance for PCs, laptops, and printers
  • Load specified software packages such as operating systems or spreadsheet programs into the computer
  • Provide professional, prompt, and courteous end-user assistance for all computing devices and applications
  • Handle IT onboarding process and offboarding process for users
  • Troubleshoot and replace hardware, hard drives, memory, and other networking peripherals
  • Install, configure, and support copiers, fax machines, printers, scanners, and miscellaneous peripheral hardware
  • Integrate and track electronic building access
  • Provide support and assistance pertaining to the Lighthouse building automated monitoring system
  • Use ServiceDesk ticketing system to support users

  • Obtained a High School Diploma or GED, bachelor's degree preferred
  • Demonstrated the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees/management
  • Trained end-users - both one-on-one and in groups
  • Quickly identified specific hardware problems and troubleshoot
  • Background in using a ticketing system

Required Skills:
  • Microsoft Windows 10 and Office 365
  • PC imaging software
  • Active Directory and Exchange 2016 management console for user/mailbox administration
  • IP networking knowledge and troubleshooting
  • hardware and software on HP and Lenovo Desktops and Laptops
  • Configuring, installing, and repairing Apple devices such as iPads

This is a 6 month contract to hire position.
Base hourly rate.
