Please note that this is an 18 month contract position.
Shift: 6am – 2:30 pm
Set up and operated basic fabrication processes and fabricating assemblies
Work on process/product/production assignments with clearly defined objectives
Performs routine tasks, using prescribed procedures
Responsible for Weldment sub-assembly for 7890 detectors and inlets
Perform routine tasks, using prescribed procedures
Solves problems of limited scope and complexity.
Monitor & verify quality of each production operation using visual inspection, basic measurement devices and automated test equipment.
Testing and troubleshooting requires technical understanding of the product and judgment decisions
Perform routine production line tasks defined by the work area using hand tools and/or operating equipment according to quality procedures nonconforming material/product, equipment calibration, ESD precautions, etc.
Manage the inventory function on the bench
Willingness to move to another shift and may require overtime for an extended period.
Previous Manufacturing experience in an ISO Certified Environment
Basic PC skills applications to perform work or testing
Must be able to work under a flow hood
Demonstrated use of tools, methods and processes
Quality system orientation
Willingness to take responsibility for resolving problems
Required to 40% bend, stoop, walk and reach to retrieve or deliver parts and remain standing for 40% extended periods of time but not limited to 35 lbs. 60%
No known allergies to chemicals
Position requires standing for majority of the time but allows some flexibility to sit.
