For this Desktop Support Tech position, we need a candidate with highly professional appearance and excellent customer service skills as this position requires client interface the entire day. This is a very active location so the candidate must be willing to work hard and be a team player. Job scope to include desktop work, imaging of laptops and desktops, and troubleshooting software problems and hardware issues.

Shifts will be 8 hours falling between 7 am and 7 pm, M-F with overtime and on-call may be required at times.

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of related work experience
  • Must have corporate deskside experience
  • Must be proficient in MS Office 2010 and O365
  • Must have iPhone, iPad, and Android experience
  • Outlook 2010 - Outlook O365 corporate experience
  • Windows 10 corporate experience
The CompuCom Technical Associates will be responsible for the following tasks:

Executive Support:
  • Supporting Incidents created through the Service Center ticketing process by executives and/or their delegates:
    • Remote Support
    • Hardware Support
    • Troubleshooting
  • Assisting with the ordering / purchasing of equipment
  • Hardware upgrades
  • Configuration and setup of all new systems
  • Software support / troubleshooting
  • Software installs / configurations
  • Local / Remote Network (remote software services)
  • Printer installations and setups
  • Providing Install, Move, Add, Change (IMAC) support as requested by the incident process, initiated by executives and/or their delegates
Specialty Device Support:
  • Responsible for providing support for the client s managed Macintosh environment, tools, and technologies:
  • Support user application access management and troubleshoot deployed applications
  • Provide end user support
    • Troubleshoot and remediate issues relating to MAC environment, wireless access, and supported tools
    • Perform Active Directory (AD) / account profile management escalations
    • Perform client builds / rebuilds
    • Support image patching as available
    • Support core application upgrades, testing, and support
    • Work with the Sustaining Operations Macintosh Support Team
Kiosk / Desktop Support:
  • Provide Operating System Support
  • Windows 10 Standard supported images
  • Work in the ServiceCenter queue and will work assigned ticket(s) to resolution, according to priority level, and resolve issues in accordance with the defined SLAs
  • In-Scope software support
  • Maintenance of the CMDB data for devices touched
Infrastructure Hands and Eye Support:
  • Provide directed support for
    • Network Closets
    • Local Servers
