The Consultant is expected to become technically familiar with the client's IT infrastructure,database management systems (DBMS) and GIS application servers. The Consultant is expected to follow specifications,recommend enhancements and perform approved work.
The Consultant should possess a thorough understanding of GIS related technologies and ESRI products for developing GIS applications as well as providing technical support.The Consultant should also understand GIS data management and be able to make recommendations to fully optimize performance for applications using this data.
The Consultant shall work with staff to perform all of the duties listed below:
2.Install, configure, and support GIS client and server-side products including all of the following: ArcGIS Desktop Suite (ArcMap, ArcCatalog,etc.), ESRI ArcGIS Pro, ESRI ArcGIS Server, ESRI Geospatial Database Server.
3.Create highly customized printable maps that display visual or graphic representation of complex information and ideas.
4.Work with County Data Base Administrators on ESRI Geodatabase V 10.x tuning and performance monitoring in an IBM AIX environment.
5.Work in dependently and with a team on the development of geoprocessing and spatial analysis tasks such as overlay analysis(union, intersect, and erase)and proximity analysis (buffer, near, distance).
6.Provide GIS technology direction and advice including recommendations on web design tools and techniques to develop the most effective and efficient web and mobile applications.
7.Assist vendors and other external parties with integrating proprietary software and applications with Public Works GIS Data.
The Consultant must meet all of the following minimum qualifications:
2.Two(2) years of experience with in the last three(3) years installing, configuring, and providing support for ArcGIS Desktop 10.x Suite (ArcMap, ArcCatalog,etc.), ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Online, ESRI Geospatial Database Server (in Oracle environment).
3.Two(2) years of experience with in the last three(3) years, performing ESRI Geodatabase 10.x installation, optimization, and configuration, feature class creation and editing, coverage analysis, developing geoprocessing tasks(buffer, near, geocoding) in ArcGIS Desktop or ArcGIS Pro.
References on the WOS Form must be from actual companies where work was performed not from the Contractor submitting the resume. Bid submissions that fail to submit a complete WOS Form A will be disqualified.
Additional references might be requested if called for interview. Partial months of experience will not be accepted as a full year.
