Job Description

Sr. AEM/ATG Engineer/Application support  @ St. Louis, MO for 12+ Months contract – (Multiple positions)


Position #1


The ideal applicant will clearly express the following characteristics and competencies:


 



  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical and non-technical details in a confident manner.

  • Ability to provide technical guidance and leadership when working with internal and external groups.

  • Experience providing technical direction to both internal and external support teams.

  • Experience with AEM (Abode Experience Manager)

  • Experience using HaProxy as a load balancer and proxy server.

  • Experience using Akamai for security and delivery solutions.

  • 5+ years in a system administrator or equivalent position in a large IT organization.

  • 1-3 years in an eCommerce environment selling service based solutions is a plus.

  • Experience creating, modifying, and running Jenkins jobs.

  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk and AppDynamics.

  • Working knowledge of virtual technologies such as VDI and hypervisors.

  • Working experience and certifications in Unix and Unix-Like Server Administration. Network experience and certifications are a plus.

  • Experience writing advanced scripts and batch files using Python, Unix Script, or Ruby.

  • Understanding of Waterfall, Scrum, and Kanban development models.

  • Experience working in a DevOps environment, leveraging continuous delivery techniques. Working knowledge of Bit Bucket, Artifactory, and Jenkins is a plus.

  • Skilled in identifying design and implementation details within bloated documentation/communication to understand expected behavior.

  • A strong, team oriented spirit and a positive, exuberant personality focused on learning and overcoming obstacles.

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE




The ideal applicant will clearly possess the following experience, characteristics, and competencies:



  • 3 – 5 years experience in an application support related role.

  • Experience with one or more of our key technologies - Oracle Web Commerce (ATG), Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), and Akamai is strongly preferred.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to capture and articulate technical and non-technical details.

  • Expertise with deep dive problem analysis using logging, ITOA, and APM products such as Splunk or AppDynamics.

  • Proficient with a wide array of data mining and messaging tools and techniques.

  • Experience using source control and deployment tools, such as Automic, Jenkins, Git, and/or Puppet is a plus.




Position #3:




PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE




The ideal applicant will clearly possess the following experience, characteristics, and competencies:



  • 3 – 5 years experience supporting a middleware platform (preferably WebLogic) in a Windows environment.

  • 3 – 5 years experience Windows administration experience with a strong understanding of Windows principles such as group hierarchy, DNS, AD user and machine accounts.

  • Experience with one or more of our key technologies - Oracle Web Commerce (ATG), Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), HA Proxy, and Akamai is strongly preferred.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to capture and articulate technical and non-technical details.

  • Expertise with deep dive problem analysis using logging, ITOA, and APM products such as Splunk or AppDynamics.

  • Experience using source control and deployment tools, such as Automic, Jenkins, Git, and/or Puppet is a plus.
