Business Development Manager (BDM) / Account Manager (IT Staffing)
SMCI an established technical staffing firm is seeking an Account Manager / Business Development Manager to build collaborative and supportive relationships with current and future clients and client partners. This would also maintain very collaborative relationship with a team of consultants to increase satisfaction and successful delivery to various projects/assignments. We desire a candidate with 3-4 years of BDM / Account Management experience with mid-market and large, high profile clients. Preferably with Technology Staffing Experience.
This position is primarily a liaison between the client, our consultants at the client site, and SMCI management, providing a steady line of communication and problem escalation between all levels. Requires experience with account management and personnel management.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Daily communication with management, and marketers and recruiters as to ongoing issues and resolutions
Overseeing consultant issues on the job at the client site
3-4 years of Business Development Experience
3-4 years of client account management experience
3-4 years of personnel management
Strong background in IT service industry
Strong interpersonal skills and conflict resolution abilities
Patience, empathy, good listening skills
Very strong verbal and written language skills
Excellent attention to detail and follow through
Project and time management skills
Proven ability in problem solving and organization
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Able to communicate well across managerial levels within the client and internal organization
Able to work positively in a team environment
Required Skills: PRIOR TECHNICAL STAFFING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
