XTIVIA / RightStar - Account Representative

 

This is a remote position, but we are looking for someone who lives in the Washington DC area.

 

This role is full-time. 

 

How you will make a difference

The Account Rep is responsible for building and maintaining a solid base of direct customers with repeatable business. This includes attainment of quarterly and yearly resale, professional service and margin quota. Account management, customer satisfaction and personal development are other important job functions. 

 

What you bring to your new team

  • Accomplishes HR objectives by collaborating with other RightStar team members and meeting sales and product training objectives. Vendor product sales badging is required.
  • Achieves sales objectives through lead generation and marketing, preparing account plans, reviewing sales strategy, determining system improvements, suggesting change.
  • Meets financial objectives by forecasting service and resale bookings, encouraging higher margin business, e.g., RightStar services, driving longer term project business, analyzing variances, initiates corrective actions.
  • Updates product and sales knowledge by participating in sales foundation training for the team, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participates in professional organizations.
  • Maintains excellent vendor relationships to encourage lead and customer sharing.
  • Assists in the sales process by articulating the value of RightStar’s products and implementation services, maintaining and updating proposal templates and methodology.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Engineering, Technology or related field.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of sales/ sales experience.
  • Minimum 2 years experience with enterprise software sales
  • Prior experience with Atlassian or BMC Software sales highly desirable
  • Prior knowledge of IT Service Management or DevOps Lean Agile processes highly desirable
  • Strong organizational, presentation, proposal writing, and customer service skills.

  • Experience in the ITSM (ServiceNow, Atlassian, BMC) or DevOps / Lean Agile spaces desired
  • Experience with professional service sales

This position has an expected base salary range of $80K - $100K plus commission. 

You will also be eligible for the XTIVIA / RightStar employee bonus plan.
