The Intelligence group provides high-end systems engineering and integration products and services, data analytics and software development to national and military intelligence customers. Responsibilities

Perspecta is responsible for performing launch vehicle Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) analyses in various engineering disciplines including flight mechanics, flight controls, thermal/propulsion, loads & dynamics, structures, and flight software in support of mission integration and mission assurance activities for National Security Space and Intelligence Community missions flying on the National Security Space Launch (NSSL) [formerly Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicle (EELV)] Program including Atlas V and Delta IV or New Entrants such as Falcon 9,etc.

Major responsibilities for this position include, but not limited to:

  • Develop required environmental and vehicle models and integrate them with flight softwareto perform nominal and Monte Carlo dispersed software guided trajectory simulations.
  • Process the simulation data and perform trajectory/performance/guidance analyses to ensure compliance with mission design requirements.
  • Interface with Launch Service Provider (LSP) personnel and resolve related technical issues in support of mission integration activities.
  • Participate in related LSP technical reviews and support discipline analysis working group meetings.
  • Document and present responsible IV&V activities and analyses.
  • Provide technical support to the management as requested.

Qualifications

  • Requires 5 to 8 years with BS/BA or 3 to 5 years with MS/MA or 0 to 2 years with PhD.
  • Strong technical understanding in orbital mechanics, aerodynamics, and rocket propulsion.
  • Excellent capability in model development, computer programming, and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Familiar withC/C++, Fortran,Ada, andMatlab
  • ====ship is required for candidates working in Greenwood Village, Colorado.
  • SECRET Clearance is required for candidates working in Brook Park, Ohio
