Antenna Engineer

Onsite Requires Current Active TS/ FSP Top Secret Full Scope Poly

  • Fabrication or repair of antennas and/or RF cable/connector assemblies
  • Development, scheduling, delivery, and physical setup of new or existing EE, RF, and antenna intrinsic training courses
  • Operation and maintenance of spherical and tapered field chambers
  • Development and maintenance of RF circuit measurement tools (load pull and noise figure)
  • Development and maintenance of antenna model library
  • Populate and test printed circuit boards by hand and with machine enabled tools
  • Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering or Physics
  • Demonstrated experience in antenna design or antenna measurement chamber design and operation
  • Experience using RF measurement equipment to include, but not limited to, network analyzers (linear and non-linear), power meters, spectrum/signal analyzers, signal generators, and noise figure analyzers.
  • Demonstrated experience training in the operation of various electronic devices such as transmitters, receivers, power supplies, digital audio/video recorders, and audio repeaters and cellular devices
  • Experience working with a far field antenna measurement chamber such as a tapered far field chamber, an outdoor far field antenna range, or a compact range
  • Demonstrated experience in the proper construction of RF cable/connector assemblies
  • Soldering Electrical and Electronic Assemblies certification or equivalent
  • Experience in one of the following antenna modeling software packages: HFSS, GST or FEKO
