CGI is seeking a qualified Applications Developer who will design, develop, enhance, debug, and implement software; troubleshoot production problems related to software applications; research, test, build, and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements; design and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing software; address problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms; consult with project teams and end users to identify application requirements; perform feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management; assist in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools; resolve problems with software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements; acts as a team leader on projects; instructs, assigns, directs, and checks the work of other application developers on the development team; participates in development of software user manuals. Your future duties and responsibilities: (a) Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, and implements software. Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications. (b) Researches, tests, builds, and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements. Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software. (c) Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms. (d) Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements. (e) Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management. (f) Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools. (g) Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: * Due to the nature of this government contract, Those authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship are encouraged to apply.ship and the ability to obtain an Active DOD Secret Clearance is required. * 1-5+ years of experience in .NET software development with formal training and/or certification * Experience with .NET, .NET Core, T-SQL, front-end frameworks such as Angular or React, cloud-based solutions, GIT experience and Test-Driven Development a plus. * Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, and implements software. * Experience with troubleshooting production problems related to software applications. * Must be a team player. * Ability to obtain IAT II Certification (CCNA Security, CSA+, Security+CE, GSEC) within 60 days of hire. #CGIFederalJob Skills: * .NET What you can expect from us: Build your career with us.
