Position Description: CGI Federal is seeking an experienced, self-motivated Mid-Level Application Developer for a large Federal Client. This individual will play a key role in driving increased levels of end user satisfaction and enhancing the end user experience. The position has excellent opportunities for growth, as the individual will be working with a highly technical and motivated client Your future duties and responsibilities: Responsible for writing well-documented, reusable, and modular code. Provides accurate estimates of costs and schedules for software development to the lead software developer. Converts complex system requirements into concise programming requirements. Promotes software reuse. Ensures all software documentation is up-to-date; supports the development of SOPs to automate many software development processes. Provides SharePoint administration support to all CA SharePoint. Administer and maintain SharePoint 2013/SharePoint Online Hybrid system. Uses PowerShell to automate system maintenance, monitoring, and development of tasks. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: * BS - Degree or relevant experience in IT-related field. * Experience required: 4+ years experience programming client / server environments, preferably with software being developed for containerization and cloud technologies. * Tech skills required: JSON, XML, Java, strong object-oriented programming skills.
