We give you a world of potential We have a fantastic opportunity to join one of our brand-new teams as an Application Support Analyst in Columbia MA, Canton MA, and Minneapolis, MN. The Application Support Analyst role is part of the Global CTO group and responsible supporting maintaining and managing the application portfolio utilised by the Computershare business and customers.This is a new team set up to support and maintain a broad suite of Business, Financial and Operational applications for our Corporate Trust business, ranging from in-house developed systems to third-party software created across a range of technology frameworks.

A role you will love As one of our Application Support Analysts, you will be responsible for the triaging and resolving of software support issues, often coordinating the involvement of multiple technology teams, including infrastructure and development services. Applications supported range from in-house developed systems to third party software created across multiple technology frameworks.You will be working closely with the Service Management and Development teams, utilising the core ITIL principles in Change, Release, Incident and Problem management as well as supporting the successful delivery of new services/applications into the production environment.Other key responsibilities include:

  • Triage and resolve software application issues, including software debugging, analysing performance and data anomalies and coordinating fixes.

  • Work with development and infrastructure teams, as well as external vendors to determine the root cause of issues.

  • Assist in resolution of product issues through client/customer education.

  • Develop automated processes to replace manual tasks and reduce associated risks.

  • Support key business events and data migrations

  • Document and implement problem items as part of the Problem Management process.

  • Analyse support enquiries to identify recurring user problems, recommend solutions and identify areas where support services can be improved

  • Suggest ways to improve existing processes and/or create additional ones to improve quality and efficiency.



What will you bring to the role?

  • Experience in a relevant Business or IT related support role

  • Analytical, troubleshooting and debugging skills, with the ability to collect and analyse complex material and data, and present it in accessible formats.

  • Excellent customer facing and communication skills - written and verbal, with a high attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated experience liaising with stakeholders to understand problems and working through proposed solutions.

  • Good working knowledge of SQL Server and T-SQL.

  • Experience with Web technologies or similar (HTML, XML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, Web Services).
