Job Description

Are you a highly experienced individual who is both tech and business savvy, with your most critical asset being exemplary customer service?

 

We have an Application Support role available within the New York office of one of our global banking clients with over 30 million customers.

 

Role Overview:

 

You are an Application Support SME who enjoys resolving application and system problems. You should:

 

  • Have a track record of supporting Fircosoft and associated applications (Fircosoft Continuity 5.8 and Fircosoft Trust 5.8)
  • Be a natural when it comes to configuring and installing Windows applications (2012 & 2016)
  • Be comfortable working with PEGA 6.2, IBM WebSphere application server, and IBM MQ
  • Have working knowledge of SQL & Oracle databases

 

You will support the Bank’s core applications, both in-house and 3rd party developed, while working closely with various other IT teams within North America and internationally, and local business users. 

 

You enjoy working as part of a project team to coordinate application development and projects, and working independently to produce comprehensive system documentation. You can:

 

  • Produce detailed root cause analysis and trouble reports for system outages
  • Monitor all production applications and systems daily
  • Conduct analyses of operating systems, middleware components, and third-party vendor systems
  • Effectively adhere to established SLAs in responding to/completing service tickets, while providing a high level of customer support
  • Support the EOD batching process for the North American business

 

Education, Experience and Technical Skills required:

 

  • Experience with Fircosoft implemention
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline with at least five (5) years of related experience, or equivalent training and/or work experience
  • Knowledge of standards/regulations impacting information technology and business operations (e.g. DFS, AML, and OFAC)
  • Ability to support business hours 7am – 6pm with monthly shift rotation
