Position Description :
Associate Clinical Imaging Administrator


The Associate Clinical Imaging Administrator is responsible for management of the clinical imaging systems, modality connectivity and day-to-day support of the end-users of the various radiology and cardiology Imaging systems. This role will also support the Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA) and Image exchange systems. The Associate Clinical Imaging Administrator will be primarily assigned to one of Penn Medicine facilities supporting the end users of various clinical imagining systems.

Minimum Requirements :
Associate Clinical Imaging Administrator

Required Education & Experience:

Associate's Degree required, healthcare or computer science preferred.

At least 1 year of experience in information services, information technology required, preferably in healthcare.

At least 1 year of relevant radiology clinical experience preferred.

Required Skills:

Demonstrated customer service skills

Demonstrated interpersonal/verbal communication skills

Ability to use Microsoft Word

Ability to use Microsoft Excel

Ability to use Microsoft Outlook

Preferred Skills:

Ability to work independently and in a group setting, depending on what the situation requires

Experience working with Clinical imaging system. Familiarity with Sectra PACS, GE CPACS, Syngo CPACs or McKesson CPACs as well knowledge of networking and Radiology or Cardiology modalities, Dicom

Knowledge of Radiology or Cardiology modalities and/or knowledge of Dicom

Clinical Imaging Administrator

Required Education & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree required, in Computer Science or related degree preferred.

Current Internal Penn Medicine Information Services division employees may be considered with proof of active and continued enrollment in an approved bachelor degree program.

At least 2 years of relevant radiology clinical experience required.

Required Skills:

Demonstrated customer service skills

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of personal skill sets

Work independently and as a team player

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with Sectra PACS, GE CPACS, Syngo PACs or McKesson CPACs as well as knowledge of networking and Radiology or Cardiology modalities, Dicom

Ability to use Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Experience with Mach7 imaging archive

Experience with LifeImage or other system used to upload and exchange outside images

Experience working in a clinical imaging environment
