Publix Technology is seeking entry-level software engineers with SAP knowledge to join us during our journey through a digital transformation. You will gain hands on experience working on Agile software development teams and collaborate on continuous delivery solutions.

Job Duties and Accountability

Under specific guidance, creates detailed technical specifications for moderately complex technical solutions from designs and program specifications
Participate on cross-functional project teams with an emphasis in Human Resources to design, develop and implement SAP applications
Assist with gathering business requirements and translating them into system design and reporting capabilities
Collaborate with Development and Infrastructure teams to create, maintain and test application functionality to ensure implementations are successful
Configure SAP to implement solutions in the Human Resources area
Test application functionality as well as custom SAP programs
Assist with resolution of SAP incidents and problems
Validate the deployment of SAP system changes into a production environment
Assist with the support of integration points within SAP as well as interfaces between SAP and other systems
Provide direct support to business areas and other I/S teams in all aspects of the SAP application
Work effectively in a team environment by providing direction to newer software engineers, taking direction from other technical or team leads

Bachelors Degree in computer science or related analytical discipline or equivalent experience
Experience with SAP's (ERP) system, specifically the Human Resource (HR) modules
Experience involving extensive research and analytical skills in HR modules with an emphasis on Organizational Management, Personnel Administration, or Benefits
Knowledge of web programming technologies
Understanding of relational database design and querying concepts
Basic understanding of Software Development Lifecycles
Passion to develop amazing solutions making adifferencein ourcustomerslives
Desire toworkin an essential technology arealearningfrom experienced software engineers

Experience configuring HR modules with an emphasis on Organizational Management, Personnel Administration, or Benefits
Experience with performing testing for the SAP HR application
Experience working with SQ01 queries or the standard ad hoc query transactions
