Defense
The Defense group supports the Department of Defense (DoD) mission to keep our homeland and its citizens safe. We provide solutions to improve the Nation's defense by providing software, systems engineering, IT, training and logistics and fleet management solutions.

Responsibilities
Independently develop and executes test scripts to ensure that quality software is provided for release to production and to certify system changes.
Produces expert level test plan documents and requirements.
Develops test control databases.
Performs solution testing confirming business requirements.
Maintains test databases and ensures their integrity and currency.
Distributes test data from control database to development staff to satisfy adequate unit testing.
Develops, compiles, documents and runs automated test scripts and test procedures.
Runs regression tests. Tracks status of defects.
Provides quality assurance testing for all systems to ensure the development and distribution of quality products.
Assists with roll-out of systems documentation.
Produces lists of defects that are to be resolved and incorporated into future releases of the application as required.
Communicates with analysts and programmers about formal testing plans, problems, and results.
Develops technical documentation and reports.
Manages the Release Management process for all changes to the baseline IT infrastructure.
Ensures all processes are adhered to appropriately throughout project lifecycles.
Ensures all existing processes are fully documented, suggesting improvements, updating documentation, and communicating all process changes to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications
Extensive use of technologies such asJIRA, Selenium WebDriver, Java, SQL
Developer and development tools such as Eclipse
Experience developing software in Java
Demonstrated ability to create Selenium test framework (for front and backend test scenarios), and to test backend APIs and web services
Working with and supporting Agile development team
Expert level knowledge and experience in SQL, Performance, Load, Regression, and Smoke testing
Designing and writing automated tests
Experience with web frontend application technologies including HTML, XHTML and Dynamic HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, AJAX
Using command line interface to check log files, utilizing Unix/Linux
Experience with defect tracking systems
Requires 8 to 10 years with BS/BA or 6 to 8 years with MS/MA or 3 to 5 years with PhD.
Must holdactive/current DoD Top Secret clearance
