Job Description

Primary Responsibilities: Focus should be on evolving quality across large groups of systems through enhancement of system design and test automation frameworks and toolsQuality Engineering leaderCollaborate on Agile architectureIdentify and implement tools and frameworks for quality engineeringMentor the other QEsConstantly evaluate and improve quality strategy, tools and techniques in collaboration with business and system architects (i.e. test automation frameworks, dynamic data collection methodologies, coding standards, systems components and object repository methods, etc.)Train the QA and QE to become SDETsProvide framework and ATDD / CICD implementation for key strategic projects independently and from scratch if neededAbility to work independently under strict deadlinesGherkinise the features / requirements and create step definitions and automate the requirements and also perform integration testing of software to ensure proper and efficient execution and adherence to business and technical requirementsShould have strong team handling skillsIdentify and analyze the defects Communicate in a clear and concise manner at the appropriate audience level, which involves offshore and U.S. counterparts and leadersAssess and recommend improvements to systems based on business and technical analysis

Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience5-7+ years of experience in an IBM mainframe environment 3-5+ years of experience in designing automation frameworks from scratch for multiple applications using UFT / Selenium / LeanFT (Java based), and have implemented ATDD and CICD on various applicationsStrong experience on tools like Jenkins, GIT, LeanFT / Selenium Capable of driving and training the team on ATDD and CICD implementation, and also work individually in bringing the application in the ATDD / CICD model completelyStrong coding skills in Selenium / LeanFT 14.0 in Java, and capable of troubleshooting the issues, and ability to automate mainframe application interacting continuously with DB2, TSO, and Flat Files, and train other QA / QE Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science or related fieldExperience in the US health care industryStrong experience with tools like Cucumber and JBOSSStrong experience with generating Agile Metrics, and Best PracticesStrong experience with IDEs like JBOSS / Eclipse / IntelliJExperience with the following mainframe tools: File-AID, TSO / ISPF and DB2Strong experience with Agile Scrum and very clear concepts around Agile, ATDD and CICD Technology Careers with Optum.
