We are looking for an Azure Architect with practical, hands-on knowledge of the Azure cloud platform. You should be driven to provide quality solutions to challenging problems. You will work closely with client stakeholders and an award-winning team of engineers, architects and thought leaders to design, build and implement next-generation solutions within the Azure cloud platform.

What you'll do at Insight/BlueMetal:

  • You will design enterprise-grade Azure solutions for a variety of external clients.
  • Work directly with client stakeholders to develop technical solutions for business cases.
  • Aggressively grow your skillset and expertise to meet the emerging needs of our clients.

What you'll need to join Insight/BlueMetal:
  • 6+ years of experience working with data and data analytics development within the Azure cloud platform and an ex cellent grasp of some of following technologies areas:
    • Azure IaaS Services

      • Point to Point VPN
      • ExpressRoute

      • Azure Resource Manager Templates

  • 4 year of experience in some of the following:
    • System Center Operations Manager
    • System Center Configuration Manager
    • Active Directory Federation Services
    • Containers (Docker, Azure Container Services, Kebernetes)
  • Languages C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, Classic ASP, JAVA, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5, CSS
  • Databases Microsoft SQL Server 2008 - 2016, Microsoft DocumentDB (aka Azure CosmosDB),
    MongoDB, Microsoft Access, Oracle
  • Server & Cloud
  • Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, Docker, Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Internet
    Information Services (IIS), Akamai, VMWare
  • Applications Microsoft Visual Studio, Visual Studio Team Services, Microsoft Team Foundation
    Server (TFS), Xamarin, PhoneGap, IntelliJ, Android Studio
  • Lead Solutions Architect responsible for working directly with Executive Committee, Senior Management, Business Stakeholders, and across functional teams, on numerous business critical initiatives.
  • Environment: C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, Web Services (REST/WCF), JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap, AngularJS, SQL Server, DocumentDB, MongoDB, Azure, AWS, Akami, VS Team Services, TFS, Xamarin
    • Strong analytical and reasoning skills that result in clear technical execution.
    • Skill at translating requirements into clean, efficient, quality code
    • Proven ability to prioritize, self-direct and execute at velocity
    • Passion to deliver craftsman-quality work both individually and as part of a team
    • Solid communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
    • Desire to learn new skills and grow competencies
