The Digital Center of Excellence is seeking an experienced Product Owner to join our team and help us build and implement our product roadmap. This role provides an exciting opportunity for an experience product owner to help shape the future of the company's on-line digital customer experience.
The Digital Product Owner will be responsible for working collaboratively with the eCommerce and Service Enablement Product Managers, our IT team and our business partners to prioritize and implement customer facing capabilities that create customer value, enable self-service and facilitate new digital revenue growth opportunities for the company, as we as internal efficiency gains.
The position requires an individual who is self-driven, highly collaborative, influential, curious, data driven and process oriented.
Primary Responsibilities of the role are:
Collaborate with business partners and Product Managers to capture high level requirements and refine into associated user stories to ensure clean hand off to IT.
Ensures epics and user stories are “ready” for development to start work.
Ensures each story has the correct acceptance criteria.
Grooms, manages, and prioritizes the product backlog in collaboration with the eCommerce and Service Enablement Product Managers
Ensures close collaboration with the development team.
Has technical product knowledge or specific domain expertise, SAP and CRM basic knowledge a Plus
Contributes to the work of the Product Manager as they define a product differentiation strategy.
Tracks progress towards the release of a product.
Experience Working with remote cross-functional teams in planning a product release.
Prioritizes defect or bug resolution
Participate in regular release planning processes.
Coordination of User Acceptance Testing
Key Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
4+ years of experience in a B2B eCommerce environment.
Proven track record of cross functional software product management and development in a global, multi-cultural organization.
Working knowledge of development tools such as HP-ALM or JIRA
Working knowledge of SAP ECC, SAP CRM, AEM and e-commerce platforms such as ATG
Strong analytical skills via excel and data visualization tools.
· Experience with procurement portals, punch-outs, eCatalog, marketplaces and SAP Hybris are a plus.
Ability to work across geographies, diverse cultures and business models.
Ability to execute on short term objectives while planning and thinking strategically.
Bachelor's Degree in engineering, computer science or marketing
4+ years relevant experience in an agile product owner position
