Leidos is hiring a BMC/Remedy Systems Administrator - Active TS/SCI Required. All work is onsite in Suitland, MD.
The HOPPER mission is to provide information technology services to fully enable ONI and the Navy to meet mission requirements. The ISC Operations (ISC-O) Department is an integrated workforce of civilians, active duty and Reserve Naval professionals who support combat operations and provide vital information for planning America's defense against maritime threats at home and around the world. ISC-N3 Operations provides Enterprise Operations support to the ONI customer community at the National Maritime Intelligence Center (NMIC) facility, to Department of Navy (DON) Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF) in the National Capital Region (NCR) and Contiguous United States (CONUS), and to shore SCIFs supporting commands subordinate to United States Fleet Forces (USFF) around the world, all on a 24/7 basis.
-Actively provide technical support for operations and environment support aspects of the Hopper Enterprise ITSM Suite which serves customers, engineers, user-support groups, management and others in the Hopper ISC and its customers
-Train ITSM Suite components to end users, customer support personnel and others. Developing supporting material and training documentation as required and in accordance with existing processes and procedures
-Meet with representatives from the Help/Service Desk and Tier III Support Teams to discuss changes and refinements to the ITSM Suite work flows and emerging trends that indicate improved efficiency or quality of incident response via additional pre-emptive service or self-service expansion.
-Provide support to application users located throughout the National Maritime Intelligence Center (NMIC) and other activities around the world.
-Install, configure, Administer, and deploy Asset Management and Discovery ITSM Suite components in accordance with existing processes and procedures.
-Support project management activities to include providing documentation and training
Required Minimum Experience:
-Active TS/SCI clearance
-BS/BA and 4+ yrs of related experience OR MA/MS and 2+ yrs of experience; addtl experience may be considered in lieu of degree
-ITIL V4 Foundation certification
-CompTIA Security+ certification
-BMC Certified Developer/Associate certification
-Proficiency with various Remedy ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, SRM, Asset, CMDB, Self-Service, Discovery). Able to create accounts, manage support groups and Product Categories.
-In-depth knowledge of Helpdesk operations and fundamentals
-3+ years administration experience with Windows Servers and/or Linux/Centos administration
-2+years of BMC Smart Reporting and performance metrics or comparable reporting tools
-6+ years of expert experience with the Remedy © ITSM Suite System Administration and development
-3+years hand-on experience with Asset management, Service Request Management and Change Management
-3+ years supporting Remedy 9x or higher and implementing and administering Asset Management and BMC Discovery
