SAIC is building a team to migrate, implement and launch Microsoft Project Online for the National Institute of Health.
The Business Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that the NIH requirements of migrating from MS Project to Project Online are understood and that sufficient level of detail and rigor is applied for the successful execution of the project. They will interface directly with the Program Manager, Trainers, SW Developers and the customer to coordinate communication to provide a clear understanding between what is needed verses what is being done.
The Business Analyst will also:
Conduct analysis of business processes: current state analysis, gap analysis, benchmarking, best practices identification, organizational assessment, and other related tasks.
Plan and implement process improvements, including: future state design, change management, and transition planning.
Provide expertise and guidance in interpreting policies, regulatory and/or governmental regulations, and agency guidelines to assure compliance.
The successful candidate has a complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the field. General knowledge of other related disciplines. Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet outlined objectives. Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance.
