Collate market information, collect and interpret data, and assimilate statistics for market insights
Market Research Analyst
You will be responsible for undertaking market research in Information Security industry, gathering and analyzing key market data and information, as well as identifying areas of improvement to increase company revenue and brand.
Perform analysis of market strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats as well as industry trends
Conduct market research to determine potential of products and services and inform marketing, strategy and product decisions
Develop and conduct user surveys, focus groups, questionnaires, and opinion polls as needed
Develop, implement and evaluate innovative marketing campaigns
Visualize complex data and findings to pinpoint opportunities, problems and solutions
Create detailed reports of findings and simplify results into presentations and actionable insights for management
Meet with clients and vendors to discuss research findings if necessary
Write research reports, promotional articles, and other published documents as needed
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
Able to identify and understand problems through forecasting, gap analysis, quantitative reporting, and statistical analysis
Ability to work well independently and in teams
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Have commercial awareness and business acumen
Ability to manipulate large data sets using a variety of software applications (eg. SPSS, SAS, Excel, Microsoft Office Suite) as well as creating visual results and trends
Collect and analyze user behavior through unmoderated experiments (A/B testing), in-person studies, and remote studies
At least a bachelor s degree in computer science, marketing, business administration, economics, statistics, information science or communications
Two years or more experience in market research, strategy consulting, product management, product marketing, etc.
Knowledge of Security industry and its applications is highly desirable
Experience in quantitative and qualitative data analysis
Required Skills: SPSS; SAS; Forecasting; gap analysis.
