Main Objective:



The Business Analyst position works directly with business departments within Arthrex to build and manage a pipeline of Information Technology projects and enhancements . A successful candidate must have experience defining and operating business processes in one of the following areas: Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Maintenance or Quality. The position liaises with the technical organization to determine the scope, timing and cost of specific projects. Note: This role will work directly within business partner departments to ensure systems meet the requirements for their ongoing business needs.





Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



Translate business goals and objectives into strategic business capabilities.



Benchmark current and future processes against best industry practices.



Develop a roadmap of projects and initiatives for enablement of new capabilities.



Project Management small and large enhancements



Engage in efforts to establish scope and business case for new programs and initiatives.



Participates in the upstream of Demand IT Planning, Budgeting and Strategy sessions within business and Information Technology



Ensures adoption of consistent processes, strategies and technology.



Contribute to a design and delivery service in support to business priorities as defined by the business project portfolio and enterprise application landscape.



Collaborate with internal and external technical resources performing analysis, design, configuration, development, testing, and deployment activities for applications.



Follow the appropriate methodology for the identification and documentation of business requirements.



Plan and manage user acceptance testing activities.



Accountable for solutions supporting business departments.



Provide the methodology, standards and tools for efficient and effective program management.



Identify technical functionality that aligns with desired new business capabilities.



Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of objectives and recommend technologies that will increase cost effectiveness, flexibility, and innovation.



Identify opportunities to innovate and differentiate Arthrex from its competition.



Up to 25% travel required





Incidental Duties:

Education and Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business, Computer Science or related field required. MBA preferred

  • Twoyears of experience within a business function (MFG, Supply Chain, or Quality) with business analysis or business process improvement activity required

  • Demonstrated history of success leading a business through a significant transformation initiative.

  • Deployment and optimization of the following system required (SAP PM)

  • Involvement in the deployment or optimization of any of the following systems preferred(ME, MII, BI, PP/DS, PP, MM, QM)

  • Ability to work comfortably at all levels within the organization up to the senior management level.

  • Knowledge of Program Management Office functions and practices. PMP certification a plus.

  • Previous position in Medical Devices or Pharma industry a plus



Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:



  • Experience with SAP ECC (QM), SAP IBP, SAP Ariba, SAP Digital Supply Chain preferred.

  • Experience with S/4HANA deployment preferred.

  • Understanding of Title 21 CFR 820 or ISO 13485 regulations and standards

  • Understanding of the major functions in a manufacturing organization.

  • Strong communication (written and oral) and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work comfortably at all levels within the organization up to the senior management level.
