Job Description

The Business Analyst will be supporting Syneren's proposal writing and software development teams. The successful candidate must be a self-starter with prior experience engaging both client and technical teams. Knowledge of project management and SDLC, as well as strong facilitation and coordination skills are required. The Business Analyst will also be responsible for reviewing, analyzing and validating prioritized requirements and system changes, as well as developing business case, use case, and process/work flow diagrams, as needed.

  • Participate in the full life cycle of software development projects
  • Lead and execute efforts to produce documentation to support project delivery, including functional specifications, data flow diagrams, test cases, requirements traceability matrices, flow charts, wireframes/mock-ups, user stories, and use case documentation
  • Gather requirements from clients and work with technical teams to determine feasibility
  • Create and execute test plans/test scripts to ensure functionality
  • Meet and communicate with clients to provide project updates, recommendations, and deliverables

Required Qualifications:
  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information (ideas, concepts, issues, models etc.) to key internal and client stakeholders
  • Ability to conduct requirements elicitation meetings with customers and other stakeholders and facilitate group discussion of requirements topics and issues
  • Clear understanding of the impact of requirements on other project activities such as Development, Testing, Project Management etc.
  • Understanding of requirements change management and tracking
  • Strong analytical and conceptualization skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior proposal writing experience desired
