Job Description


The Tri-Com Consulting Group A Full Service IT Employment Consulting Firm is seeking qualified candidates for the following opening:

Our client is replacing its current hosted enterprise IWM software.  One component of this replacement is the implementation of a hosted CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software product.  This project is intended to replace and enhance the functionality currently provided by a combination of one of their systems and other non-standard solutions and implement them.  The modules to be implemented are Operations and Maintenance, Needs Analysis and Key Control.  The project includes business process analysis, business process definition in the new software, production of standard operating procedures, training, data migration, integration with other IT systems and implementation.

Our client is combining organizations and will need to consolidate business areas and applications.  

There is a gap in the business area creating requirements as well as test plans for the series of projects taking place. The BA will be the liaison between the ITS (previously) technology area and the facilities end users. The BA will need to gather and document requirements and create test plans.  

The client is looking for this resource to be able to come on-board help in gathering requirements, ask the right questions, document both workflow and requirements using tools like Visio and Work Press, or perhaps Microsoft Team.


  • Personable, good people skills, quick study, able to solicited requirements from end users by insightful questions / facilitation, good documentation, and can create test plans based on requirements)
  • Self-starter and quick study – able to pick up information and processes quickly
  • Able to learn processes and systems with little or no documentation
  • Ability to work with users of varying technology backgrounds
  • Able to assist organization formalize the processes related to solicitation and creation of business analysis artifacts.
  • Comfortable working with little direction
  • Ability to develop both function and technical specs (no formal programmers to assist)
  • Capable of creating testing documents such are regression test cases.


  • Working with business subject matter experts and users, translating business needs into understandable requirements, and translating these into clear and concise technical specifications for the development team and non-technical documentation for business users
  • Maintaining records of team design decisions
  • Assisting in the development and maintenance of business processes and mapping business flow
  • Creating design documentation and obtaining user validation of requirements
  • Acting as liaison between developer staff and business users to resolve discrepancies, address requirements, questions, and issues
  • Defining, developing and implementing test plans and procedures
  • Conducting testing to identify defects; recording and tracking progress on defect resolution
  • Writing periodic status reports
  • Performs other related duties as required
