Line of Business Role Description
The Global Transformation Lead is responsible for partnering with the Securities Core Trading Operations leadership team, Equities, Technology and team members to implement strategic initiatives for the group. The lead has the responsibility for (1) setting and driving the execution of the Securities Operations strategic technology initiatives to enable transformation and automation (2) driving operational excellence for SCTO and (3) push the strategic technology roadmap with every initiative investment.
Responsibilities Include:
• Drive execution of key business strategies by building strong relationships with key stakeholders and creating accountability for results.
• Effectively communicate SCTO's strategy to a broad set of internal and external audiences to build consensus and firm-wide engagement.
• Demonstrate excellent organizational, project management and leadership skills to ensure output of the highest quality across multiple, concurrent projects and tight timelines.
• Create a clear, coherent approach to guide effective program/initiative setup, execution, and control.
• Ensure clearly defined responsibilities and accountabilities for key program/project roles.
• Develop, maintain, and report on an overall integrated delivery plan
• Develop management routines, including a reporting framework that enables the SCTO leadership team to consistently assess performance of transformation and automation initiatives and drive decision making and results.
• Translate complex ideas and concepts into easy-to-understand and engaging content that enables efficient decision-making and productive discussions.

Required Skills/Experience:
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines at the Executive Level
• Strong business centric mindset with ability to utilize sound business judgment and tailor approach to drive optimal business outcomes.
• Strong Analytical skills - to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile variances and present complex data in a coherent manner
• Strong relationship management and ability to navigate the complexities of gaining buy-in, building consensus and resolving conflicts in a large, global, distributed organization; ability to work across functions and organizational lines/levels
• Advanced analytical skills, with ability to use data to solve difficult problems and accurately interpret reports, models, and metrics; able to lead, execute and track results
• Team player with the ability to take the initiative and ownership of tasks and operate across different functional silos
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, collaboration and influencing skills
• Strives to bring new thoughts and ideas to teams in order to drive innovation and unique solutions.
