Position Description :
Penn Medicine is hiring a Business Process Integration Consultant for the EHR Integration department!

The Business Process Integration Consultant is responsible for coordinating and leading local level execution of enterprise Strategic Optimization Projects for their assigned area(s). This is a position requiring independent thought and judgment combined with the ability to understand front-line business operations in a multitude of unique settings.

Working under limited supervision, this individual will facilitate implementation and acceptance of common technology applications.

Key areas of responsibility include:

Inform, design and assure implementation and adoption of web system functionality. Assure departmental and system readiness for the implementations of new functionality.

Demonstrable ability to lead and deliver strategically important projects through to completion.

Supports and understands the needs of the client.

Communications are timely and appropriate to audience.

Maintains confidentiality of information.

Works according to the UPHS Mission Statement.

Completes assignments in a timely manner.

Open to change and different approaches to work.

Performs duties in accordance with Penn Medicine and entity values, policies, and procedures.

Other duties as assigned to support the unit, department, entity, and health system organization.

Minimum Requirements :
Minimum Degree Requirements and Experience Required:

Bachelor s Degree

Master s Degree, preferred

Minimum of 2 years working with electronic medical records, scheduling and billing applications

Prior experience in a medical practice management role, preferred

Licenses, Registrations, and Certifications:

EPIC certification preferred

Skill Requirements:

Understanding of electronic medical records functionality

Understanding of patient billing

Experience with precertifications and scheduling

Ability to use Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Preferred Skills:

Experience using EPIC

Understanding of medical office operations
