Gather, analyze client/business requirements and translate them into technology solutions/products.
Experience with full development cycle of a Reporting and analytics applications, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, and maintenance
Hands on experience with SQL is a must.
Write SQL queries to analyze huge datasets and solve business problems.
Hands on experience in technologies like Cognos, Tableau, webfocus, microstrategy, SQL, Big Data (Hive, Solr), SAP BW, any other reporting tools preferred.
Knowledge of servers and networking preferred
Background in Business Intelligence, Reporting and analytics
Hands on experience in processing data from multiple sources like Sql data sources, DB2 sources, csv files and feeds it into a predictive analytical model to churn out action based reports
Retail background preferred.
Experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Develop Key performance metrics in order to support strategic priorities and ensure ability for on-going monitoring of post-launch results through analysis and reporting
Collaborate with executive leaders, business users, team of engineers, data scientists in order to scope out and deliver requirements.
Write user stories and maintain Story boards
Experience with Architecture, Design, Configuration, Customization, Integration and User acceptance Testing, Production Support
Participate in incident management process; use standard tools (e.g., JIRA) to research issue details and review ticket outcomes in the event that clarifying communication about known issues is required.
