GDIT has a new and exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and creative C# Developer to get into a highly selective organization and bring new ideas to the table while gaining experience from a team of seasoned professionals. We have an immediate opening for a C# Developer who will be responsible for development, support, and maintenance of new and existing ASP.NET web applications in a fast-paced, high-demand team environment. Our federal customer offers an opportunity for talented, motivated individuals to create applications used at the highest levels of the executive government.

As the ideal C# Developer candidate, you will possess and be comfortable performing the following skills:

* Design, develop, and implement web applications using ASP .NET 4.5, JavaScript/jQuery, Visual Studio 2015, Microsoft Team System, CSS, HTML, and other technologies.

* Transform complex customer requirements into working, maintainable enterprise-level solutions..

* Utilize third-party software development kits and APIs to rapidly develop solutions.

* Adapt off-the-shelf solutions to meet government customer needs and requirements.

* Work with Business Process Analysts to design and develop solutions and workflows that meet business requirements.

* Work in a 2-5 person collaborative agile team environment.

If selected for the C# Developer opportunity, you will be responsible for the following:

* Deliver value at frequent intervals by creating usable, tested software that meets the business needs of our customer

* Utilize third-party software development kits and API's to rapidly develop basic application solutions.

* Adapt off-the-shelf solutions to meet government customer needs and requirements.

To be considered for the C# Developer position, you must meet the following required qualifications:

* B.S. in Computer Science or related field of study, or equivalent relevant work experience plus a minimum of 2 years related work experience

* Required Proficiency: Chosen candidate will be a developer with an excellent work ethic, attitude, an appetite for learning, and the motivation to discover and master new technology.

* Candidate should possess at least one year of experience developing web applications using Visual Studio 2015/.Net Framework 4.5 and earlier, preferably with ASP.NET MVC utilizing C#..

* Angular/JS experience required

* Demonstrated personal experience of a compelling nature can be substituted for work experience in some cases.

* Active Top Secret clearance

Preferred experience:

* Thorough knowledge of HTML and CSS, preferred familiarity with responsive design via Bootstrap.

* Familiarity with AngularJS is desirable.

* General knowledge of software development patterns.

* Automated testing with technologies such as MSTest- , Moq, and SpecFlow - Web services, WebAPI and building RESTful based API services, WCF services, or similar.

* Familiarity with Agile/Scrum principles and experience working in an agile environment.

* Source control repository such as TFS

* Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server 2016 and earlier.

* Clearance Requirements: Current Top Secret security clearance with SSBI, preferably conducted within the last 36 months but not required. Candidate will be submitted for SCI and Yankee White / PSD clearances. PSD clearance must be obtained prior to start..

* DOD 8570-CompTIA Cert (Sec+, Net+, CISSP, etc.).
