C# GIS Programmer

 

Description:

12 months.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and deploy enterprise-level web and desktop applications using ArcObjects, C#, and the .Net framework
  • Design and develop enterprise-level software solutions on the ESRI GIS platform and ArcFM Solution
  • Implement code and solutions with a variety of technologies to customize desktop, web, and mobile based solutions
  • Technologies to be used: .NET, C#, ArcObjects, VB, Python, SQL, XML, HTML, JavaScript, Azure DevOps, Jenkins CI, Jira, Bitbucket and GitFlow, Windows installer XML, IIS 7+
  • Serve as dedicated, knowledgeable, technical, and onsite engineer
  • Create and maintain the client relationships
  • Solve internal and external technical issues across database configuration, software defects, and solution education


Skills & Experience:


  • Bachelor of Science in computer-related field preferred; other technical degrees/certifications considered in combination with experience
  • At least 4 years of experience developing end-user applications and interfaces in a .NET, C# development environment
  • At least 4 years of experience developing end-user applications and interfaces with an object-oriented programming language
  • At least 4 years of experience with commercial RDBMS such as Oracle and SQL Server
  • Experience developing integrations, customization, and extensions for the ArcFM Solution technology stack
  • Experience developing integrations, customizations, and extensions for the ESRI ArcGIS technology stack
  • Experience in a customer-facing software engineering role with responsibility for tasks in a full software development life cycle from design to end-user support
  • Experience with Windows-based software development tools, including Visual Studio
  • Experience with Windows Installer XML (WiX)
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and/or Jenkins
  • Experience in Customer IT or Customer Support services
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with the Azure/Azure DevOps technology stack a plus
