Candidate will be developing next-gen residential grade LTE/wireless Gateways that will enable carriers and enterprises to meet the ever growing demands for high bandwidth applications.
Candidate will diagnose cellular Protocol and System level issues from the carriers, screen through and debug issues reported from certification tests, and lead IOT and field tests by doing in-depth log analysis using various tools and code walk-throughs. In addition, you will work closely with internal development teams, radio stack vendors, certification and field test teams, and carrier support teams to fix issues. You will also be responsible for leading product features through the development life- cycle from bring-up through acceptance.
Hands on experience in software development for Fixed wireless broadband Gateways with cellular technologies like 5GNR, 4G-LTE/CA/LAA/CBRS/VoLTE/IMS Core, and UMTS/HSPA.
Strong knowledge and experience of 5G NR Phy/MAC and higher layer control and user planes
Knowledge of IMS and systems engineering aspects related to RAN and proficiency in Core level call flow analysis.
Hands-on experience with Small Cell and NW emulators for 5GNR is a plus
Good RF & OTA fundamentals knowledge and understanding along with practical experience
Strong knowledge of 3GPP specifications and experience in LTE Air Interface, PHY, MAC, RLC, RRC, PDCP and NAS layer
Proven experience of investigating and resolving LTE device side issues
Broad spectrum of knowledge to be able to understand end-to-end network system architecture from wireless physical layer all the way up to application end-point.
Proven ability to independently own a complete area of technology and drive product quality working with cross-functional teams
Attention to the smallest details that are significant to customer
Experienced in analyzing and implementing LTE-Advanced and 5G Core Network 3GPP technical specifications

System and big picture knowledge of WiFi systems and components and their interworking
In depth knowledge of 802.11 and WiFi Alliance specifications, like 802.11ac, 802.11ax and Hotspot 2.

Education/Experience: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
