This is a multi-year contract in Pasadena working onsite at the JPL Campus

MUST HAVE A CURRENT TS/SCI CLEARANCE

 

The main key in this job is having experience in Vector Mathematics or any experience with satellites.


We are looking for several developers – Java OR Python or C++  etc…. – see details below

These positions will be working on all the future Mars missions, so it's great work.

And these contracts are initially 2-3 years with extensions.

Will be responsible for working with a large system engineering and analysis team to provide the necessary infrastructure, processes, and software engineering discipline to enable the seamless execution of end-to-end simulations and analyses.

Will have significant interaction with analysts, software developers, system engineers, and external sponsors.

Required Skills: • Active TS/SCI clearance – Top Secret (TS) clearance approved for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) accesses.
• Experience in application programming utilizing Java and Python OR C/C++ and MATLAB in Linux environment.
• Experience in development of scripts in Python, bash or csh to automate tasks in Linux environment.
• Ability to learn new software techniques and mathematical algorithms.
• Understanding and application of standard software engineering principles, especially with respect to unit and regression testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
