Job Description

ASRC Federal InuTeq provides information security, enterprise architecture, software development and health IT solutions to federal government customers. We are currently seeking a Windows C++ Developer to work remotely in support of our government customer.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and develop customized versions of Kerberos PuTTy, and Filezilla.
  • Perform duties from home location with the ability to work with geographically dispersed team members and customers.
  • Follow the software development life cycle; participate in design, development, testing, and implementation of software programs.
  • Provide installation and configuration services, as needed.
  • Debug programs following detailed requirements.
  • Write clear and concise documentation.
  • Communicate with the customer to ensure that we are providing quality customer service and a product that will meet the customer's requirements/needs.


Responsibilities

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree plus 5-7 years work experience or equivalent.
  • Must possess a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance, i.e. an adjudicated T5 investigation. U.S. citizenship and living in the U.S.
  • Current DoD 8570 IA baseline certification required by selected candidate's start date; current certification preferred to include one of the following: CompTia Security+, CISSP, CCNA Security.
  • C++ software development experience in Windows environments with Visual Studio.
  • Experience writing Makefiles and use of the command-line.
  • Working understanding of security & networking: TCP/IP, PKI, SSL, SSH, etc.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and operate in a dynamic environment.

Additional preferred experience and skills:
  • Experience with a second programming language: Python, Perl, PHP, JavaScript, Java, Ruby, Clojure.
  • Experience with relational databases, especially MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Strong Linux/Unix skills which includes command line, shell scripting, and package management. OS X experience a plus.
  • Experience with DoD Cybersecurity practices.
