Job Description

Solidus is searching for a Software Developer.

Candidate will join a team that performs research and development across many programs for the DoD and government agencies. Successful individual will be experienced in agile software development.

• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain DOD Secret Clearance; Active Secret preferred
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience

Required Experience
• Python, experience with Python unit testing with pytest, and unittest, debuggers, Docker, Linux, and GIT
• Creating docker containers, using docker containers for development and testing and deploying containers using docker-compose
• IDEs such as PyCharm and VSCode
• Databases with a preference toward experience with Postgres
• Javascript, RF, software defined radios, signal processing, Matlab or Jupyter, Nexus, and experience with continuous integration
• Software/Algorithm Development
• C/C++, Java, Bash, SQL, HTML / CSS
• Object Oriented Software Design and Development
• Programming in a rapid-development environment
• Software Design/Development
• Hardware and Software Integration
• Software Testing

Additionally Desired
• MQ, machine learning, ORM development and database administration
• Python libraries: Numpy, Hypothesis, Poetry, Pyenv, Tox, Sphinx, setuptools, pip, pytest, unittest
• JSON, Protobuf, and SQL-Based Databases
• API and automation experience
• Digital and Wireless Radio/Communications Technology
• Software Documentation
• Hudson/Jenkins
